Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of StockInfo (stockinfo.net), operated by H. Sheikh("we", "us"), a UK-based sole trader. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use StockInfo.

1. Not financial advice

StockInfo is a research and education tool, not a financial advisor, broker, or tax professional. Verdicts, entry prices, targets, scores, and any other output are generated by a rules-based system and third-party data, and are general in nature — they do not take into account your personal circumstances. Nothing on StockInfo is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions, and you should do your own research and consider speaking to a licensed financial advisor before investing. Past performance shown on the site is not a guarantee of future results.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use StockInfo. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of any data you enter (e.g. portfolio holdings).
• You may connect a third-party brokerage account (currently Trading212) at your own discretion. StockInfo is not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or security of that third party's service, and connecting it is entirely optional.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis via Stripe.
• You can cancel anytime; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, with no partial refund for unused time.
• We may change subscription pricing going forward; we'll give existing subscribers notice before a price change takes effect.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use StockInfo for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or bulk-extract data from the site beyond normal personal use.
• Circumvent or interfere with account, billing, or abuse-prevention controls.
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person or entity.

6. Data sources

Market data, financial statements, analyst estimates, and news shown on StockInfo are sourced from third-party providers (currently including Yahoo Finance and SEC EDGAR) and are provided "as is", without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Data may be delayed and can contain errors.

7. Intellectual property

StockInfo's software, design, and branding are owned by us. You retain ownership of any data you enter (such as your portfolio holdings). We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use StockInfo for your own research; you don't get any rights to resell, redistribute, or commercially repurpose the site or its output.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StockInfo is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any investment losses, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to StockInfo is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as liability for fraud.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, including the acceptable-use section above. You can stop using StockInfo and close your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date above, and let signed-in users know of any significant change.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, regardless of where you access StockInfo from. This section doesn't override any consumer protection rights you have under the mandatory law of your own country of residence.
